I'm delighted to tell you that Mercedes in Edinburgh let me have the use of this silver GLA 200. I had it for 2 days and it convinced me that a GLA was perfect for both my wife and I. I particularly like this silver one but as I have a silver C200 I let my wife choose the colour of the GLA. We ordered a white 220 4matic,

Premium +with Beige interior. I found it interesting thatall of the cars in the showroom had black interior.

That's probably because all the showroom cars will be sold on after 11 months, and black interiors show no dirt and marks from all the people that might sit in, or borrow, or test-drive the cars. This is also why I prefer black interiors; so that the car still looks new after a few years.

I like the look of light interiors but for day to day use no good for me. IIRC the Skoda VRS used to have white carpets! Wouldn't have lasted a day with me.
