Is there such a thing as a service plan on the GLA that can be bought?

You know the sort where you get three years of servicing included for a set amount?

Thanks

The only option MB have is the monthly plan which was £24 a month which you can have for 3years or 4 years. Did your dealer not mention this when you bought the car?

I had the option for the £24 a month one but I turned it down, I wasn't sure if this offered a 'deal' or a 'saving' or if you were just in fact spreading the cost? Anyone know?

The MB service plan offers quite a saving over four years, less so over three years, and less again over two. This is how it all adds up from my particular dealer, based on an annual mileage of 15,500 or less:

2015 Service
Minor Service - £276.70
Total - £276.70

2016 Service
Major Service - £458.38
Brake Fluid (due every 2 years) £86.64
Total - £545.02

2017 Service
Minor Service - £276.70
Clean and lubricate panoramic roof (due every 3 years) £33.20
Total - £309.90

2018 Service
Major Service - £458.38
Brake Fluid (due every 2 years) £86.64
Air Filter (due every 4 years) £46.24
Spark Plugs (due every 4 years) £142.08
Total - £733.34

Total of 4 services = £1,864.96
(this is a rough guide as it does not include any future price, inflation or tax rises)

Total with service care plan = £1,152 or £32 over 36 months
(this is the guaranteed price, you do not pay any other costs for your service scheduled items)

Total amount saved with Service Care Plan = £712.96
