Hello all, picked up my new GLA last week, a question to all you GLA old hands!

I was expecting the reversing camera to show on the screen once I selected reverse, but this only happens for me if the audio system is already on ( not if off), is this the same for you? Or am I missing a setting option?

I have the Command system and if that is off, then so is the camera. I don't see this as a problem as I never turn it off unless I want complete audio and visual silence.

But if you do want complete Audio Visual silence then you have no reversing camera which is my point.
I would class it as a minor irritation, but for me it should come on when it goes in reverse as it says in the manual. Its the reversing camera not the Audio system I am using. Ah well no big shakes just one of those quirks most cars have, obviously my work around is the mute button!.

Noticed as well that the actual camera opens when you go into reverse without the stereo so the Camera comes on but not the screen - a real contradiction!

I noticed that to. You would think that the screen would activate when the camera opened!
