I am getting an annoying squeak from my rear wiper when switched on.
I have tried lifting the blade up , & tried WD40 oil around the exposed central post , but it still squeaks !

Looks like a spot of oil is needed on the moving parts inside the covered area under the boot lid.
How do I access it?

Hi
The squeak is almost certainly from the rubber onto the glass. You can try cleaning the wiper rubber with a spirit like meth’s but from my experience the best way is just to replace the wiper.

Thanks , but I have tried raising the rear wiper blade & letting it operate without touching the glass & it still squeaks !
I need to get to the moving parts ,but don’t know how !
Need to get the trim off inside the boot lid.

Hi,
Instead of WD40 I would use White Lithium Grease spray as its more robust, particularly in winter.
