Hi,
Is there a time limit as to how long the radio will remain on while sitting in the car with engine off please ?
In other cars I have had it is something like 30 mins before it shutdown to prevent drain battery ?

Yes. When I'm washing the car, the stereo does switch off after a while. 30 minutes sounds about right.
