I've just purchased a new GLA 220 AMG with every possible upgrade , in the manual it said it has the head lights that automatically dip when a car comes towards you , but this does not happen , does anyone know if this is correct or is it only the GLA45 that has this ? Cheers geoff

Put the rotary light switch to AUTO, and put the light stalk to full-beam. If you then drive over 34mph at night with no oncoming traffic and no one in front of you, your lights should go to full-beam. It doesn't matter what model you have as long as you have the Intelligent Light System.

the first drive in my new GLA was from Skipton to v rural Leics. Lights fine on motorway but positively dangerous on narrow rural twisting roads. I had no idea how to put full beam on, didn't realise it was disabled in Auto mode (why!?). Had to change route home. Now I know I'll have to shift to manual.
